Prepare to overcome for the people wander like sheep, afflicted because there is no shepherd; -Yet the Lord of Hosts will make them like His majestic warhorse in battle (Zech. 10:2-3).

For many believers, our starting point is wandering and afflicted, like little lost sheep; but our destiny is to become God’s majestic horse in battle, treading down in dominion that which He has placed before us.

As many believers can attest, those who have shepherded them have been unable to equip sufficiently enough to overcome. Therefore, as has always been God’s intent, we must turn to the only perfect Shepherd who offers the solutions only He can provide. 1 John 2:27 tells us that we no longer have need for man to teach us, but the Spirit Himself, sent by Jesus, and abiding in us, will teach us all things, and the things that are true. (That’s not to say we cannot learn from others, as God has appointed teachers and pastors, just that they are not the only option available for teaching/learning. As believers, we must not disregard that which is offered by the very Spirit of God Himself).

We overcome when we know what Jesus says, believe what Jesus says, and do what Jesus says by walking in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit, Who Jesus Himself has sent, to be our helper to overcome.

Prepare to Overcome
Prepare to Overcome: A Believer's Response to God's Call to Intimacy. The signs of the times, the end of the age, the last days, are words and phrases we are hearing more and more. Indeed, the signs are surrounding us and for those with eyes to see, the end of the age is surely drawing near. But, what does that mean, exactly, in a practical, day-to-day response for a child of God? is it just enough to know our place in history? Jesus admonished the Pharisees and Sadducees for their inability to discern the signs of the times; believers are exhorted to watch and be sober, but then what? Are there things to do in preparation?

Preparing the Saints
This is a Bible Study that will not be a teaching from the opinions, positions, commentaries of men, but rather from the Word of God itself. The goal is to seek Him through the Word of God. Our exhortation to you is to seek answers from the Word of God/Holy Spirit first, before submitting to the teachings of men. This study will prepare you to walk closer to Him by understanding what you've been called into, thus you will walk victoriously through the valley of the shadow of death as an overcomer.
